Spirit Pipes

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is the thirteenth installment of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series. The game features a cel-shaded art style similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The protagonist of Spirit Tracks, Link, travels across the game's overworld using a cannon-equipped steam train much like the steamboat in Phantom Hourglass. Link is also able to control Phantoms, one of the more difficult enemies from Phantom Hourglass, which are possessed by Zelda, and play an instrument called the Spirit Pipes.~info from wikipedia

Pegasus Boots

"The Pegasus Boots, also known as the Pegasus Shoes, are a recurring item in the Legend of Zelda series. This pair of brown boots allows Link to sprint at high speeds. Sometimes, the boots are adorned with silver wings. He can use them for a variety of purposes, such as smashing into walls or trees to knock things off or out of them them, or running across dangerous ground, like quicksand. The boots usually require Link to spend a second or two gathering speed before its power can be unleashed."~Info from Zeldapedia

Eox

This craft comes to us from paperlegend and the paperzelda team. It's Eox from Phantom Hourglass. "Eox (古代巨岩兵 オーイス, Ancient Giant Rock Soldier: Ōisu) is a giant mechanical golem made of stone and wood. He is the seventh boss in Phantom Hourglass, and guards the Cobble's Aquanine. Eox is possibly the largest boss Link has ever fought, along with Molgera, Stallord, Morpheel, Bongo Bongo, Twinmold, Cragma, and Dark Dragon. Eox's stone armor strongly resembles the exterior of Mutoh's Temple and the other pyramids. This, along with the fact that he dwells outside of Mutoh's tomb, suggest that Eox may actually be an ancient Cobble Kingdom war machine that was corrupted by Bellum's evil."~Info from zeldawiki.org

Spirit Tracks Link

To celebrate the release of the new Zelda game, Spirit Tracks, I've decided to make a ST Toon Link papercraft playing his new instrument: the Spirit Flute!
I really recommend this new Zelda game to you all, and if you don't know what to do between one gaming session and another... You could build this paper Link! ;D

Hero of Twilight

After making Zora armor Link earlier, I decided to make another Twilight Princess Link, this time in his more recognizable, green outfit.

In Twilight Princess, Link is granted the green clothes of the Legendary Hero, after Faron, one of the Spirits of Light, recognizes him as the chosen one to bring back the light to Hyrule.

The Hero's Clothes offer better protection than his Ordon outfit and wolf form, and he's gonna need it...

Have fun building!

Zelda Diorama

This diorama is from the very first Zelda game: The Legend of Zelda. It was a game viewed from the top. That's what makes this diorama interesting too. Normally, dioramas are screens from a game that's played from the side.
So go ahead and try this cute craft. Even if it's just to get back some nostalgic feelings from the early days. Oh yes... back when we were young...

Howling Stone

It's a howling stone! When used, there was a small minigame where you had to pitch your howling at the right time. The songs used were mostly themes from previous Zelda games.

The Howling Stones, also called Wind Stones, are special stones found in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. These mystical stones are located throughout Hyrule. They are similar to the Gossip Stones in that they share the Sheikah Emblem. However, the Howling Stones have a hole where the "eye" of the symbol would be on a regular Gossip Stone. The Howling Stones, as their names may suggest, emit strange songs reminiscent of howling.

I can't assure you that this papercraft works like in-game, but I can assure you that it's a fun looking craft to be placed next to your Ninjatoes wolf-link. Have fun!

Grandma

It's time to get back in business! After a long absence, I thought I should get back into the papercraft world. I apologize if I will post stuff that has been posted ages ago on other websites. I haven't been keeping track of papercrafts for a few months now after all.

Anyway, on to the papercraft! It's Grandma! I loved her when I first met her, and I still love her when I see her now. Oh, the cuteness. I also felt really bad for leaving her after she lost Aryll, but I had to rescue that girl! I was glad I was able to cheer her up with a nice fairy. Did you know she makes delicious soup?

Majora's Mask Pictograph Box

This is a lovely "life-sized" model of Links Pictograph Box from Majora's Mask. According to the fabulous designer Christina, it is a relatively simple construction, with an undoubtedly brilliant end product.

The Pictograph Box is is a sepia toned camera that can hold only one picture at a time.

Link obtains this item from the Swamp Tourist Centre after rescuing Koume from the Woods of Mystery. The Swamp Tourist Centre holds a Pictograph Contest during the first day, and if Link submits a pictograph of the Deku King, he is rewarded with a Heart Piece. The operator of the contest will also reward him if he submits a pictograph of his son, Tingle.

Later in the game, the Fisherman of Great Bay Village requests that Link take a Pictograph of a Gerudo Pirate as part of a side quest to find the Zora Eggs and rewards Link with a seahorse that he captured near Pinnacle Rock.

I, of course recall none of this at all, lol!

Twilight Princess Small Dungeon Key

The Small Key is featured in many Zelda games, and of all the keys available to the player, the small key is the most commonly found key. It can be found in small chests and by killing enemies. A small key can be used to open locked doors that have chains around them. In every Zelda game (except The Legend of Zelda), they can only be used in the dungeon where they're found.

This model was initially 30cm (12") tall - which was a little ironic - but that idea was inevitably scrapped because it looked incredibly ludicrous! So now it is a sensible 15cm (6") tall. Enjoy!

Model ripped from Twilight Princess by Brandon, editing and template by Skelekitty.

Twilight Princess Zora armor Link

http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh205/Papercraftbucket/Pictures/zal-721141.jpgTo enter Lakebed Temple, Link needs be able to stay underwater for a longer period of time. The Zora armor allows him to do just that.

It is given to him as a reward by queen Rutela of the Zora (or rather, her spirit...) for escorting her sick son to Kakariko Village.

Other than making him swim faster and being able to breathe underwater, the Zora armor doesn't give Link any special powers; it does however make him more vulnerable against fire and ice attacks...

Anyway, you can get the parts and instructions to build your own papercraft version from my site, have fun building!

Twilight Princess Pot Collection

We have posted a Twilight Princess pot before, found HERE. It has proven to be so unexpectedly popular, that we decided (well, ok, I decided =D)... We need more pots! And here it is, the Twilight Princess Pot Collection.

There are four kinds of pots, the first one is the same shape as the one previously released but now comes in new colors. Just like the first one, all the pots have a sealed vessel inside so you can use it to hold your own items.

White Wolfos

If you've ever played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask or Twilight Princess, you'll recognize this fellow as a White Wolfos, cousins of the regular Wolfos, but only appearing in icy, snow-covered areas.

They have the ability to dive in and out of snow as if it were water, enabling them to disappear at will and to launch surprise attacks.

The easiest way to defeat one is simply to dodge its attack and strike its tail when it exposes its back, which will kill it instantly. Striking a Wolfos on its tail requires accurate timing, but defeats a Wolfos in one hit if successful.

This model is quite tall (20cm), but it's actually quite a really good size, especially when you take into consideration the claws and teeth. This model is all thanks to the very prolific Brandon.

8-bit Zelda weapons

Wooden Sword
The wooden sword has appeared in a number of Zelda games as your first sword. Now you can build your own 8-bit sword!

The first appearance of the Wooden Sword is in The Legend of Zelda. It is the first sword Link receives; at the start of the game, he enters a cave and is presented with the weapon by the Old Man. This serves as his primary weapon until he has acquired enough Heart Containers to allow him to wield the White Sword.

Bow:
D you have your enemy in sight but you can't quite reach it with your sword? Why not use your bow to slaughter it?

In The Legend of Zelda, the Bow is found in Level 1. Interestingly, rather then having an arrow supply, Link's Rupees are depleted instead of arrows when he fires his Bow. In the final dungeon, Level 8, the more powerful Silver Arrow can be found, which is necessary to finish off Ganon.

Windwaker Stone

Stones are found all over the place in Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker. These things can easily be blown up by bombs or bombflowers. Later in the game you can also lift most stones with the Power Bracelets.

An easy craft. That reminds me, maybe I should add tags for the difficult of the crafts. People will then have an easy time navigating through crafts by difficulty. It might take some time to make that work right, since we have a 100 post limit per page for now. Anyway:

Windfish

Make way, make way! The WindFish comes to the Papercraft world! Some say he is the same as JabuJabu in Ocarina of Time.

The Wind Fish (かぜのさかな, Kaze no Sakana) is a large, flying whale who makes his home atop Tamaranch Mountain on Koholint Island, inside of a giant egg. He starred in Link's Awakening.

The fish itself is only 2 pages, and there's an extra page with a stand for the fish. Looks like this will be a pretty nice model when built!

Hako Sheik

If you're all into simple styled papercrafts, this one is for you! Hako Sheik!

Sheik is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Sheik serves as Princess Zelda's alter ego in the game; to escape Ganondorf's capture, Zelda passes herself off as a male Sheikah known as Sheik. Throughout the course of the game, Sheik aids Link, who is not privy to Sheik's true identity, by providing him with information and teaching him teleportation songs with her harp.

Hako's are so easy that even a 5 year old kid should be able to make one. You might want to play with the hair a little, like on the picture. For the rest it's just print, cut and paste! Have fun :D

Hyrule Castle

This is one of the few Nintendo Buildings out there. Hyrule Castle! To be specific: Hyrule Castle from Super Smash Bros. !

Hyrule Castle is a stage in the Nintendo fighting series Super Smash Bros.on the Nintendo 64, and has a similar appearance to its model seen in Ocarina of Time. Small tornadoes frequently pass through the stage, sending anyone who comes in contact with one flying up in the air. This is the largest stage in the game, a tradition that would continue with the Hyrule Temple stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee on Gamecube. Hyrule Castle can be seen in the Bridge of Eldin stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Wii.

Well, this should be a pretty straight-forward craft. Go for it!

Master Sword

We've already seen a Master Sword before, but this one will finally be able to stand on its own between all your other crafts. It's the Master Sword, with a Pedestal!

The Master Sword, often referred to as the Blade of Evil's Bane, is an ancient sword that reappears throughout the Legend of Zelda series. This sword, crafted by the Ancient Sages, has the power to vanquish beings of evil.

This sword is removable from the pedestal, so when evil wanders around the house, they'll beg for mercy after they see you've got yourself a Master Sword. You might as well use it for Time Traveling ;) The pack comes with two sizes, a 13.7 and a 16.5 cm Sword.

Toon Link

Another insanely detailed craft for you! It's toon Link!

Toon Link, like most of the "Links", is a different Link to that of Twilight Princess. Toon Link's art style has been used for other Links in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (which is whom the fighter is based on), and The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass.

Well, what can I say? You'll need a lot of ink, time and patience for this one, but it will pay off once you've finished it! So if you have all of these things, Go for it!

Twilight Princess Zora

So you love huge crafts that have still very small pieces, are insanely detailed and will impress anyone? Then the Twilight Princess Zora is one for you!

The Zora's have changed quite a lot since they first appeared in The Legend of Zelda (where they were mistranslated as "zolas") In Twilight Princess, some carry around spears and wear a mask that is shaped like a fish, just like this craft's Zora.

This is not a craft for beginners! Although the result will be about 40 cm tall, it still has VERY small pieces. With a lot of patience, time and ink you should be able to make a great craft though.

Top of Tingle Tower

Don't be ashamed if you can't remember this house-like object. I had to scratch my head two or three times before I recognized it. It's the top of the Tingle Tower on Tingle Island in Windwaker!

Tingle Island is a small island on the Great Sea, which appears in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. On the island is the Tingle Tower, a spinning totempole-like tower that is the residence of Tingle, David Jr, Ankle and Knuckle. Tingle can be found there when Link needs him to translate Triforce Charts.

This craft should not give any problems when building. Be sure to add the bottom of the house-like shape before adding it onto the platform though, or you will find yourself struggling to put it onto the platform

Have fun!

Merry Christmas! And a special Zelda craft

Hi there! Here's a small note from me, Drummyralf. I want to wish all of you a very mery christmas, and to make sure I don't forget to post it: A happy New Year! This might be a little early to post, but I'm doing it anyway :P

I would also like to apologize for my absence the last few weeks, and lack of posting. This is due to personal reasons. I really thank all of the crew that keep this site updated when I'm not around. I'd also like to inform that since it's a time of holiday, there might not be as much posts as normal. Everyone's somewhere celebrating the holidays, and I personally think family always goes first, not the blog.

Therefore, bare with us a little longer with some lack of posts. Thanks :) To make up, there will be a special craft post tomorrow :) And today's isn't quite your daily craft either!

Fairy in a Bottle

Hi everybody! Merry Christmas from Paperpokés! Happy Kwanzaa and hope you had a fun Hanukkah!

You already got 2 models today, so why not a third one! I've had this lil model that's been sitting on my desktop for a while so I thought I should post it. You might recognize from the pic the little fairy from Zelda : The Wind Waker. She's very cute and not so hard to build... now why didn't I post it earlier? Because of the bottle!

Me (PMF) and Skelekitty have been trying to build that bottle for a while and things aren't working for us it seems. The idea is that we made a paper bottle big enough to contain the fairy, just like in the game, but how d'you build a transparent bottle!? We tried with a bunch of plastic sheets and differents glues, but nothing worked wonder (tape works but...). So now it's your turn; try to build that and send us some pics!

So here's the Download.

Have a nice day!

Link's hat (life-size)

Some people have been waiting for this one to be released a long time. Others didn't know of its existance. Well, today is the day where I present you... LINK's HAT! (Including optional bonus hair!)

This particular hat is from Twilight Princess. The model is life-size, so it's completely wearable (proof here). It's designed so that you can make the hat seperate from the hair, so the hair is completely optional. The hat will be slightly too big though if you don't make the hair. With all the hair made, I can wear it perfectly without the thing shifting on my head.

Note that this craft will be nearly impossible to build without the .PDO file though. I strongly suggest using the PDO whenever you can. I know this is troublesome for Mac users, but I can't really help it at the moment. I thought of making a guide a little bit too late.

If you don't want to waste tons of ink (though It's only 12 pages) you might want to print out the white version in the download and paint over it. Paint will also not scratch as easy as ink does, so when you plan on wearing it, it will be better protected.

Start your own legend with the Link's hat now!

Waterbomb

A WaterBomb!

The Water Bomb is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This specialty bomb retains all of the functionality of the regular Bomb with the added ability of underwater usage. Bomb Fish appear to be the inspiration for the bombs, as they explode if Link hits them with his sword and are similar in appearance.

Although it's only 2 pages, you will probably need the PDO file to make this craft. The lay-out of the pieces don't seem to be related to where the pieces actually should go in the craft. Good luck! I think the end result is well worth it!

Colors of the Triforce

From the Nintendopapercraft forum comes this model from designer Freelancer, who says this about his model:

"Many have forgotten the colors of the triforce, red for power, green for courage and blue for wisdom.

The triforce has been colored gold in the later games but the color of the triforce is in all games. How? Well the tunics! every game has the colored tunics of red green blue!"

He also recommends not gluing the triforce to the stand so you may be able to move them around or stack them.

Piece of Heart & Heart Container

*Get heart music plays* You got yourself a heartcontainer!

Heart Containers are used to store Link's "health" in the Legend of Zelda series. The more heart containers the player collects, the more health Link can have and the more 'hit points' he has.

Another pretty straight-forward model. If you feel like replenishing your hears, this is the way to do so! Don't forget you don't need to print the first page of the PDF. Only 2-6 are the papercraft. They're quite big pieces, so don't worry about it being too complicated or h(e)ard.
Enjoy!

By Christina, Info from Zeldapedia

Piece of Heart
Pieces of Heart are smaller pieces of a full Heart Container. By collecting the necessary number of Pieces of Heart, Link can create a new Heart Container and thus increase his health meter.

Heart Pieces are found in mostly every Zelda game starting with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and they are found in many different places throughout the game. They are either hidden in hard to reach places that need tools you find later in the game, in treasure chests within dungeons or the overworld, or by helping someone with a deed. In some games, they can also be purchased in shops.

This particular piece of heart is from the game Ocarina of Time (or Majora's Mask)

Redead Sword

The ReDead is a reappearing enemy in the Legend of Zelda series. ReDeads are zombie-like creatures with a highly emaciated humanoid appearance.

The ReDead Knights were buried in warm, dry areas, and were apparently intended to serve as guardians for the Arbiter's Grounds and the Cave of Ordeals, hence why they were given swords and clothing, unlike other redeads in the series.

The craft is 6 pages. The last page of the PDF does not have to be printed. It contains out of big pieces, so this should not be hard at all to make. Please note that the sword in the picture is made with a black-white printer. The actual craft will have some color. The file also includes a PDO for reference.

Miniblin

The Miniblin is the smallest and weakest member of Ganon's evil army. They can be dispatched in one hit, and pose no real threat in terms of attack damage. However, they tend to appear in large groups, and their superior numbers can sometimes get the better of Link.

They use small pitchforks as weapons, and can be very dangerous to have around if Link has climbed his way to a high altitude. If Link finds himself facing a Miniblin swarm without his sword, he can drop All-Purpose Bait to distract them and make his escape. And this time it's Link from the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures! Someone took the time to recolour the version, so now there is also a blue, red and purple version! Enjoy!

Fierce Deity Link
Another great recolor by Nick Lopez! It's a Fierce Deity Link! Many people think the Fierce Deity mask was stupid because of the great power you gained. But everyone has to admit: Fierce Deity Link looks Really cool! This is a recolor from the Chokipeta Four Swords link.
