Electrode

From the tireless team at Paperpokés, this is Electrode. It is a genderless, electric Pokémon and resembles a Poké Ball, and has a tendency to explode in response to even the smallest stimuli - it is known to explode when bored just to entertain itself.

Interestingly, A trainer has a higher chance of running into wild Electric Pokémon if he/she is carrying it in the leading slot. Electrode feeds off of electricity in the atmosphere, which explains why it is normally found living in power plants - the more electric energy Electrode consumes, the faster it moves. Electrode evolves from Voltorb.

This model was designed and built by PMF, who suggests that "you can just draw the eyebrows on it with a black pen."

Breloom

From the Paperpokes team, we have this model of Breloom, the Mushroom Pokemon that evolves from Shroomish. It has a dual nature, being both a Grass and Fighting type. Because of this, Breloom can offer many interesting possiblities for your game. The seed clusters at the end of its tail contain toxic spores. It moves in on its opponent with sprightly footwork and its short but stretchy arms can deliver punches.

This model was designed by POdragon and the build was done by PMF, who took a break from designing to build this cute and easy model.

Gengar Version 2

Here we have Gengar, the Shadow Pokemon. At night, if the shadows appear to be moving and laughing around you, it must be Gengar doing his naughty and devious deeds.

This is a modified version of the Gengar papercraft that we have featured here previously. This one is smaller at 15 cm high and the number of pieces had been reduced significantly. The original design for Gengar was done by Pixel-Kakashi. The modifications were done by Skelekitty.

Skelekitty recommends that you build Gengar in the following order: back, face, tummy, arms, legs, then tail.

Smeargle

Hello!

This is PK with another awesome model, this time by the hand of my good friend PMF.

Smeargle secretes a fluid from its tail, which can be used as paint. Smeargle is the only Pokémon known to express itself in an artistic fashion. Smeargle is also the only Pokémon that can learn any move permanently thanks to its signature move, Sketch. Awesome, right?!

This is his entry for our PoKéMoN contest!

A note from PMF:

"
There's also 21 different textures with it, so you can chose pretty much any colors for the paint.
Only 6 pages and 20 cm high (8 inches)."

Koffing

Gas Attack! Koffing is a gas pokemon, number 109. It first appeard in Pokemon Green, and red, then later in blue and yellow. Koffing appears towards the beggining of the game, and is a good Pokemon early on. It is also James' of Team Rocket's favorite pokemon, and he often uses smoke screen or sludge attack to escape from Ash and his friends, after they have tried to capture pikachu (which happens about every episode)
Anyways, This was built by PMF, and testbuilt by Skelekitty. Have fun building!

Lugia is a legendary bird pokemon, number 249. It first appeared in Pokemon Gold and Silver, released in 2000 for the gameboy color. It was a very powerful pokemon, but was a little on the difficlut side to get. The papercraft version was made by POdragon. Have fun builiding!

You encounter a wild Lugia!

Hello, here's another PoKéMoN model: Piplup!

This cute little penguin is the water-type starter on the 4th gen pokemon games.

On another note, Ralf and I have been busy updating all the download links on the blog, also I managed to reduce the file size on all of Red Yoshi's models, so, instead of downloading a 60 MB model of Samus you get a neat, tight 6 MB file.

Happy downloading!!!

Oddish

Another Pokemon released by PMF! It's Oddish!

Oddish are commonly found in the anime. Most of the time they play the victim and are usually being chased or attacked.

Note that this craft doesn't stand on its own! You will really need to have a platform where it can stand on, or otherwise it will just fall over! It's a very nice papercrafte nonetheless!

Ditto

A wild Ditto appeared! Oh noes!

In its natural state, Ditto is a purplish gelatinous blob with vestigial facial features. However, it can take the form of anything. It is also a genderless Pokemon

Great Pokemon, Great designer, bla bla, you know the thing by now :p Still posted for archive purposes. Because I promised posting atleast one Pokemon a day during the contest, these are quite handy so I don't run out of Pokemon all of a sudden :o This doesn't mean this Pokemon is any less cool, just because it's posted out of Archive purposes! Who wouldn't want to have a Ditto in it's collection? It might transform in a Ninjatoes Adult Link sometime when it feels like it!

Charmander Doll

The very first contest entry! And quite an original one as well!
This Charmander Doll could be obtained through the Mystery Gift in Crystal. When you used a GamePack to go into your own room in Pokemon Stadium 2, you were able to see your own room in 3D, including all the furniture and dolls. That's where this model is ripped from.

Jigglypuff appear as round pink balls. Their bodies are soft and rubbery. They have small arms and legs. A Jigglypuff has a curl on its forehead and two ears.

Well, what to say? Simply a sphere with ears, hands, feet and a piece of hair. But a cute sphere, that's for sure! Your restless nights will be over once this craft stands in your room ;)

Zubat

Another great Pokemon by PMF. There'll be wings! You'll like it!

Zubat is a small, blue bat-like Pokémon. It has two long, skinny tails. Zubat's face lacks any eyes and a nose. The insides of Zubat's ears and undersides of its wings are purple.

This is quite a big papercraft! Zubar will measure 24cm high x 40cm width when fully upright! Note from the testbuilder, Skelekitty: "I love these high-detail pokemon models - they are a work of art! Even as I rotate the 3D virtual model in Pepakura I can't help but be amazed at their beauty. It has this amazing flapping motion in it's wing joint that I suspect is an accidental fluke of nature! "
Sounds great! Have fun!

Slowking

Not the fanciest Pokemon Craft out there, but I think some people will like it because of it's simplicity

Slowking are regular Slowpoke who suffered a peculiar event. The King's Rock they rarely hold attracts Shellder, and gets bitten on its head instead of its tail. The poison that some Shellder secretes reached Slowpoke's brain, turning it extremely intelligent.

This craft appeared in a Japanese magazine, and therefore there is only a lined version. There aren't too many lines though, and I think some people will like to have this in their craft collection. it only has 6 pieces and one page, so you should have built it in no-time.

Chingling

Watch out for this cute little Pokemon, as it might take away all the attention for all your other crafts!

Chingling looks like an animated bell, with its opening representing a mouth. It also has two red and white tassles. Inside its body is a red orb that creates its cry when it is agitated, much like a real bell.

Another nice one pager by POdragon. As you can see on the picture, it's even smaller than a CD. The hands and feet are very tiny, so you might have some problems with it. I recommend folding as few things as possible with this one, so the result will look rounder.

Poochyena

Also known as "The Bite pokemon", Poochyena enters the world of papercraft!

Poochyena's body is gray, with black coloration on its face and feet. This coloration is swapped when it evolves. Poochyena is an omnivore

It might not look like it, but this Pokemon is just one page big! If you decide not to fold anything, the craft will look somewhat rounder. You will need to fold SOME tabs though, like the ones on his ears.

Nidorino

The second pokemon for today! Don't worry, I will be posting other papercrafts soon for people who don't like Pokemon :)

Nidorino is larger than its pre-evolution. Its forehead horn is larger, as well as its ears and the spines on its back. It has grown large teeth.

It looks like you have to add tabs for the stings on it's back yourself. I suggest making these tabs as small as possible, so that you don't see too much of these tabs. You could also print out the spikes twice, and glue them together so you will have textures on both sides. It's all up to you!

Psyduck

I CHOOSE YOU! Wait! Not you Psyduck! Get back here!

Psyduck resembles a yellow duck or platypus with a vacant stare. Its appearance, according to the Pokédex, is meant to trick enemies into thinking it is weak. It has arms with three claws on each to deliver scratches if threatened.

Another great model by PMF. The texture problems that might show on the pictures have been fixed, so don't worry about ending up with a weird textured papercraft.

Squirtle

Squirtle, Squirtle! The cute Pokemon that recently appeared in the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Squirtle is a bipedal turtle with its most notable feature being the hard shell on its back. This shell forms and hardens on its back after birth. It could perhaps be distantly related to some other turtle-like Pokémon, such as Torkoal and Turtwig, but Squirtle seems to only be closely related to its evolutions.

Dragonite

It's a Dragonite!

Despite being bulky, Dragonite are incredibly agile and fast. Unlike it's pre-evolutions, it is orange and possesses arms and legs. They resemble a European dragon, and have a pair of little wings that can increase in size while in flight. It has a taller stature than most humans.

Note from PMF: "Just a note about Dragonite, the one in the picture is the testbuild, so the tail's too heavy.

I now changed the tail so it's level with the feet and serve as a "third leg". So no need to add weight or anything."

Awesome :) No need to add weight. That's how good this model is!

Cubone

Cubone, I choose you! Cubone, use paper!

Cubone appears to be a small brown dinosaur-like Pokémon, that constantly wears a skull (supposedly the skull of its mother) like a helmet, which masks its true face from view, a puzzlement for many trainers and researchers. It carries another bone, which it uses to attack with moves like Bone Club.

Cubone has a plump body, with strong limbs to carry its bone as a weapon around wherever it goes. A small tail is also present for balance, but it can be used for attacking.

Meganium

Another great Pokemon papercraft by POdragon; Meganium!

Meganium is a sauropod-like Pokémon. Instead of having a leaf coming out of its head, like its two previous evolutions, Chikorita and Bayleef, it has two style-like protrusions sprouting from the top of its nose, each with what looks like their own stigma. The leaves around its neck seem to have sprouted into a large pink flower with white tips.

Espeon

I can't believe I didn't post this before! It's an Espeon!

Espeon is the result of an Eevee trusting a Pokémon Trainer very much, then being leveled up during the day. Its catlike appearance and red gem have made some mistake it for a relative of Persian, however, this gem merely augments its psychic powers. Its tail, which is forked a bit like a Buizel's, also helps it to foresee possible futures.

In the Pokémon franchise, Pikachu are often found in forests, plains, and, occasionally, near mountains, islands, and electrical sources (such as power plants), on most continents throughout the fictional world. As an Electric-type Pokémon, Pikachu can store electricity in its cheeks and release it in lightning-based attacks.

Sandshrew

Jup, that's right! 3 posts in a row! Last post for today(probably) features a Sandshrew.

A Sandshrew is a ground-dwelling rodent notable for its defensive capabilities. Its body is mostly covered in a dry, tough hide which is colored to blend in with the sands of the desert. It can curl into a tight ball about the same size as a basketball to protect its soft underbelly. Its primary weapon is the small but sharp claws on its paws, which are also useful for burrowing and can sometimes be poisoned.

Bulbasaur

The cute little Bulbasaur joins the Papercrafthype!

Bulbasaur first appeared in 1996 among the first Pokémon video games, as one of three starter Pokémon the player can choose from at the beginning of the games. In the Pokémon franchise, Bulbasaur can often be seen napping in bright sunlight. By soaking up the sun's rays, the seed on their backs grow progressively larger. As they undergo Pokémon evolution, the seed starts to flower.

Pokemon Rescue Team Blue/Red Pikachu Headquarters

Photobucket
Over the next few days I'll be posting a lot of Pokemon papercrafts. Luckily there's quite a bit of Chokipeta, so I thought I should start it off with this great find! Where would we be without Goblin Guy? This is the Pikachu Rescue Team Base from Pokemon Rescue Team

Blue and Red. The game was rather popular, and has had 2 recent sequels, with the 4th generation Pokemon. I never really "loved" the game, but I remember buying a DS in anticipation for it to come out. Red and Blue were different in not just the Pokemon they have, but for systems too! Blue was for the NDS, while Red was made for Gameboy Adv. This was a great strategy, because Nintendo could get buyers who had a DS and Who didn't. Sadly, it came out a while later then the brink of the switch of the systems, which probably would have brought more customers. Instead of using wireless connection it used multiple codes and Wondermail, so you could rescue your friend even if their game in a different system. Anyways in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon you would take a mood test, and your game would determine which Pokemon you were most like, then push you into a new world of Pokemon(wirthout humans), apparently a different dimension from the normal world. After rescuing a group of Mankeys, they upgrade your base to look like your species(kinda creepy, don't ya' think?) If the Pika house design has changed, I'm not sure, scince I didn't buy Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Time or Darkness.

Lucario

Yes, it's that time of the month again....the time when a new brawl papercraft gets released! This time it is the blue aura pokemon: Lucario

Lucario is a rather difficult character to play as in brawl, mainly because of his unique aura attacks. This pokemon can sense and use the aura eminating from every living thing to attack or simply to "see". Therefore, it probably has the longest range of any character in the brawl. It's attacks reach farther than your opponent suspects, and then catches him off guard. Also, the more damage that he accumulates, the more damage he deals out. You want to try to pick off this guy early before he gets too powerful.

God also has a longer reach than we expect him to. In fact, his reach is to all things, and he controls all things. He can see everything we do, and controls every circumstance in our lives for our own good. Now, many people say, "There are so many bad things in the world, either God isn't there anymore, or he just doesn't care." Neither of these statements are true. God work all things to our good not earthly happiness. His will is that we go to heaven (eternal happiness) and he will often put us into uncomfortable circumstances to get us there. E.G. you get cancer, and then turn to God in your misery and accept his free gift of salvation. In this case he used sickness to gain your attention so that you would turn to him. He is in complete control over all things.

You can download Lucario, (who does not have control over all things) here. The pack contains a .pdo, a instructions .pdf, and .jpegs for mac users.

Blastoise

Hi guyz and girlz! I'm back from vacation! Was away for a week, as you might also have noticed in blogposts. I apologize for this. This is completely my fault since I left the staff with too few papercrafts.

Anyway, there should be a daily update again from now on! And today's papercraft is Blastoise! Blastoise is the evolution of a Wartortle. Blastoise is a bipedal, large, blue tortoise with a brown shell and two water cannons that jut out of the top of its shell. The cannons can be withdrawn inside the shell, or rotated to point backwards; this enables Blastoise to commence jet assisted rams. It can shoot water from its cannons with enough force to punch holes in steel, and enough accuracy to hit an empty can 160 feet away.

Onto the papercraft part!

Totodile

Totodile Papercraft
Hello!  I am Navi, and although a few of my models have been on the blog, this is my first post as a writer for the site.  So, today I bring you a new model!  One of my own: a Totodile.  The totodile is, of course, one of the basic Pokemon.  This model, though somewhat complex at certain parts, is a fairly easy build for the most part, so a moderate crafter, or a dedicated beginner should easily be able to complete it.
The red spikes on the back of the standard totodile are included in the model, though they are not shown in the example.  Also, for the most difficult part of the model, the hands, an alternate part is provided (without fingers) to help those looking for a quicker build.  I hope all the poke fans out there enjoy this one!

You will also be able to find this model, with some extra pictures of a built example, on my site shortly.

Dratini

I thought it was time for a Pokemon papercraft again. This one is pretty old, but cool nonetheless. Dratini is a Dragon Pokémon with a white circle-shape on its forehead. It is #147 in the National Pokédex. Dratini can be found in Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal just by fishing with a Good Rod or Super Rod.
The name Dratini is a combination of dragon, tiny and possibly mini, or teeny, which is an informal alteration of tiny, despite Dratini being born at almost 6 feet in length. Even so, Dratini's Japanese name Miniryu contains the word mini meaning small, and ryū, Japanese for dragon. Its English name was originally going to be Dragoon.

Turtwig are small, turtle-like Pokémon, and are one of the three starter Pokémon for the Sinnoh region. Its prominent jawbone may denote a relationship to the snapping turtle. Its green and yellow body is covered by a shell. A small seedling grows on its head, similar to the plant bulb on Bulbasaur's back and the leaf on Chikorita's head.
