Big Al burger

Well, not much is known about this burger. It's a character that appeared in Banjo Tooie.
Here's a quote from the Big al, that is selling these burgers:

[Banjo and Kazooie meet Big Al, a burger stand vender who is sneezing on the burgers!]
Big Al: Step right up, Big Al serves the finest burgers in Witchyworld!
Kazooie: Err How on Earth did you ever get a job in catering?
Big Al: Uhh I'm not sure really, I use to clean out toilets!
Banjo: Ulp I've suddenly lost my appitite!

This should be a peace of cake! Eh... Piece of burger!

Jiggy pieces

We have seen the jiggy piece before, but this time it's an easier version. It also has the traditional textures. Because this version is easier then the one posted before, you can make a whole bunch of them and put them together! Why buy a wallpaper for in your room when you can just put the wall full of jiggy pieces made out of paper?

In both Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, you had to collect these Jiggy pieces to advance in the game. They were like the stars in SM64, but they actually made some sense because of the puzzles you had to complete before moving to a next level.

And here's the old one:

Don't underestimate this papercraft! It's really not as easy as it looks at first glance. No, it's not the most difficult one you will ever make, but you will have a lot of cutting to do. I suggest making both part first, and then put them together (duh) Just put some glue on the corners first, and on the middle of the two round gaps. Later you can glue the sides with a toothpick.
I suggest you print this one on glossy photo-paper (unlike most other papercrafts) because it should shine a bit.

Have fun!

Bottles

From the forums, we have Bottles!

Bottles is a shortsighted mole who teaches Banjo and Kazooie abilities throughout Banjo-Kazooie. He was Tooty the Bear's closest friend in Banjo-Kazooie and the only eyewitness to her kidnapping by the wicked Gruntilda.

Note that the eyes seem to be really fiddly. There are instructions with the download, that say that some of the parts of the eyes are optional, so I suggest reading them before starting to assemble ;)

Mumbo Jumbo

Yes, this is the actual Mumbo Jumbo! Not a staff, not a head, not his body. It's a full character!

Not much is know about Mumbo's past, but the Banjo-Kazooie instruction manual states that he was a former teacher of Gruntilda, and that she betrayed him and cursed him, transforming his face into the hideous skull mask which he has become known for. Due to the appearance of his lower body, some believe that Mumbo was a Jinjo before he was cursed, but Rare has denied this on numerous occasions.

Let's move onto the last papercraft from the contest. Rare's googly eyes! I'm not sure if it's actually a "craft" though, it's more just like a print and cut thingy. However, it looks awesome on almost anything:

Jup, that's right. You can just randomly spread these things through town, or just have fun with them in your own house. You don't just need one of these. You will need tons! Bring everything to life with these awesome Googly eyes!
Oh yeah... before I forget... I'm not responsible in any way for any acts you might do with these eyes, nor can I be held responsible for any consequenses from this papercraft. Don't forget to give your girlfriend some attention once in a while after downloading this papercraft, mkay?

Mumbo's Staff

Another entry from the Banjo Kazooie contest. Mumbo Jumbo's staff!

Mumbo Jumbo is a Shaman who uses the Tansformation abilty on Banjo and Kazooie in Banjo-Kazooie but his role is taken in Banjo-Tooie by Humba Wumba. In Banjo-Tooie, Mumbo Jumbo is a playable character who attacks by using his staff, and performs certain spells for Banjo and Kazooie. He will also appear in Nuts and Bolts as the main shaman, as well as a farmer in the Nutty Acres stage and a mechanic in Showdown Town. He is also a playable character in Banjo-Pilot.

Targitzan

One of the bigger papercrafts from the Banjo Kazooie contest (which has now ended); Targitzan!

Targitzan is the boss of Mayahem Temple in Banjo-Tooie. To get into his Temple, Banjo and Kazooie must learn the Breegull Blaster. They must then collect 20 statues of him to gain entry to his Really Sacred Chamber. Banjo and Kazooie were just about to grab a Jiggy when Targitzan appeared, trapping the jiggy on top of his head where they couldn't reach it. So they had to battle Targitzan to get the Jiggy back.

Banjo & Kazooie in chair

A great submission in the Banjo Kazooie contest! Banjo and Kazooie sitting in a chair, playing a Gameboy! This scene could be found at the startup of the game at the screen where you had to choose a savegame. This makes a rather nice papercraft indeed! I heard it was quite hard to actually create this model. Navi had to rip Banjo and Kazooie from the game itself, and remodel it so that they would fit in the chair!

Honeycomb

The Honeycomb was the source of health in Banjo Kazzoie and Banjo Tooie. It was like the hearts of Legend of Zelda. They can be seen since the beginning of the game, in spiral mountain, and usually are aquired by killing an enemy, but can also be found in a beehive or just on the ground. This sweet papercraft was made by Supermariofreak. Have fun building!

Banjo Washing Machine

A very interesting papercraft was made in the contes! The transformation of Banjo into a Washing Machine! You could transform into the washing machine in Banjo Kazooie, by unlocking it through Bottle's Bonus Challenge.

In Banjo-Tooie, the Washer is the native transformation of Grunty Industries. Unlike the one in Banjo-Kazooie, this one has wheels and the largest energy bar in the game.

Beehive

Another entry from the Banjo Kazooie contest. The beehive revealed 3 honeycombs when you broke it. These could be used to restore your life. Later in the game however, the hive was protected by bees who would sting you if you didn't keep running.

Thanks to NintendoGal we can now upload the papercrafts on their server. This will make downloading easier for everyone. Thank you very much NintendoGal!

Kazooie in Backpack

I will start posting the entries that we get in the Banjo Kazooie contest :) We only have 2 entries so far, but I'm sure a lot of people are still working on their models!

It's Kazooie in a backpack! But wait, where is she hanging on? A hallstand? Yup! Remember the Banjo Kazooie game selection screen? Kazooie was in the backpack like this at one of the savegames. (I believe just the first one)
IF we get more entries like this, we will finally have a decent amount of high quality Banjo Kazooie papercrafts (although the existing ones are allready good)

Mumbo's head

This designer must have felt sorry he didn't make this papercraft a little bit later. If he did, he could have used this papercraft to participate in the Banjo contest. Ah well, life's not always fair. It's still an awesome papercraft nonetheless. Not too hard, just one page. Note that the eyes have valleyfolds.

Have fun!

Banjo and Kazooie

PhotobucketHere is Banjo and Kazooie. Created by rare (previously rareware) Banjo and Kazooie are the lead characters in 2 of the n64's best games (the best in my opinion) Banjo Kazooie,(release in 1998) and Banjo Tooie (released in 2000). These games were extremely fun, but also challenging, just like this papercraft: this is not one for beginners! It was created by Navi, and you can find it at her website. Have fun building!
