The Pokemon Marathon is soon upon us
As you may know the Pokemon marathon is tomorrow. On December 19th, tomorrow, the marathon will begin and will go for 72 hours straight. So I think its time to let you guys know some background info on TheSpeedGamers.
TheSpeedGamers are a group of people who have done quite a few marathons before. They previous ran through every Mario Game in less than 24 hours, and played through the Metroid Series as well in 48 Hours. They also did two Legend of Zelda Marathons, and an Earthbound marathon.
They always do their marathons for charities. and have raised over $9,000 total. They always get many viewers and donator and its just fun to watch as they talk to people as they play the games, and generally have fun playing.
This time around though they will be on a goal, a goal thought impossible. They are going to catch every(obtainable) Pokemon and put them on one Nintendo DS cartridge. During this marathon they will be taking donations for ACT Today. When they finish their goal, they will select a person who donated at random, and give them the Nintendo DS cartridge with all the Pokemon.
Thats right, you could get the Nintendo DS cartridge that they will have spent 72 hours straight collecting every Pokemon on. Your money will even go toward a good cause! Dont want to donate though? Thats fine watching them play the games is fun, as they actually interactively talk to people in the chat.
So why are we doing a Pokemon Papercraft Contest to follow them? Because this is a big goal. A HUGE GOAL. When did you ever see, hear, think of a Nintendo DS cartridge containing every Pokemon on it, caught legitimately? Yeah, that's right, they aren't using any cheats, glitches, or anything. All Pokemon will be caught fairly.
So if your free be sure to check out the Marathon on From December 19th through December 22nd, the fun will start at 5PM CST! Its defiantly something you wont want to miss.

Hehe, pretty cool concept. Sadly, I'm too poor to donate.
